The trip to Italy was planned mainly because my mommy was dieing to see tuscany, and well we all wanted to visit Italy anyways. Tuscany is beautiful, but i don't think i could live there, unless a big city like florence would be considered Tuscany, because well you would be very alone here...

We stayed in a nice little apartment/hotel with kitchen and a nice veranda to have breakfast on, and it was right outside of Sienna. While touring Tuscany, we visited MANY cities including: Monte Pilliano, San Gimigano, Montalcino, Cortona, and they were all lovely little towns that kept their medieval charm.

These cities were usually built on hills in order to be able to defend themselves against attackers. Also, some of the little towns are now empty because the junger generations decided to move to the bigger cities to get jobs, and therefore, like in the picture of marc and me, the towns died out.

city life...wouldn't want to have to walk up those streets everyday (the one Marc is standing on)...
